Hello Family, :)
I know that many of you just returned from the Stetzner Family Reunion in Kallispell. I bet Mary Francis did a wonderful job and you all had a great time right?
Mom, Dad, Jim, Jimmy and I were in Whitefish and Glacier about 2 weeks before you all and were blown away by the beauty. Montana....it's one of the best places on earth.
Since we couldn't be there with you we would love to know about the reunion and what great things you all did. Who won the golf tournament? What families were able to attend? Any great pictures you would like to share?
We really wish we could have shared in the fun. Let us know what we missed okay?
Love to you all,
Lydia

Is everyone having a great July?? I hope you all won't be jealous when I tell you I went to Boston to do alot of things but especially to see the Boston Pops in Concert. The theme for the evening, (on July 2nd) was "Take Me Out To The Ball Game". We heard all the traditional baseball songs along with Sousa's and songs from "Field Of Dreams". It was fantastic to sit and watch Keith Lockhart conduct and he was so much fun that evening. He got us envolved in singing and eveyone must have been in a joyful mood because you could hear it in the volume!
Tom and I sat on the steps of the Administration Building at Harvard University, saw Bunker Hill where the Colonel told the colonists not to shoot until they saw "the whites of their eyes". The Red Coats....you remember them...England. Saw the North Church where Paul Revere gave the instructions "one if by land, two if by sea". Took a ferry to Salem where they had the notorious "Witch Trials", saw the house where Hawthorn lived, the House Of The Seven Gables, saw where Ben Franklin was buried and where he went to school, etc. etc. So many things....not a big enough blog. But, here is a very good suggestion. If you ever get to Boston, go eat at The Atlantic Fish Company and Ruth's Chris. The lounge at Ruth's Chirs is breath taking....you feel so elegant and RICH (but you're not) and Atlantic Fish has fab. fish (of course, fresh....Boston??)and a great relaxing atmosphere. Tom told our server, Ginti, that we were from Idaho and if he needed a ride home after work Tom would be happy to give him a ride in his pickup!!! Many, many laughs!
We missed seeing the Red Sox play....they weren't home. Darn.
My high school class is having a mini reunion in Anaconda on July 20th and 21st. It's our 51st. Crazy but we love each other. Then the following week I will be kicking up my heels with the rest of you. Can hardly wait.
BIG congrats to Meredith and Jay. We would have come to your wedding. Hope we can meet him soon. He sounds like a winner! Hope so, anyway
